Too true.

“The mind is its own place, and in itself
Can make a heav’n of hell, a hell of heav’n”

– Milton, Paradise Lost

Forever Summer.

This is a piece I’ve entered as part of an application for that Arvon Foundation course I mentioned before… I hope you enjoy it! Feedback is much appreciated xx

Best laid plans.

Hello all.

The results are in, and I’m a little short of passing first year Physics. Need to retake a module over the summer. This will obviously be taking priority over writing.

But enough about that, there’s good news, too! I’ve gotten quite a bit better health-wise over the last couple of months, and I’ve finally started to read again. Started off with the Mortal Engines quartet by Philip Reeve. I’m most of the way through A Darkling Plain now, and I’ll be visiting the library as soon as I’ve finished that. I’ve begun to write again, as well (and about time). I’m currently writing a piece as part of an application for a course with the Arvon Foundation. If you haven’t heard of them, look them up, they’re great people. I’ve been attempting to write every day, but I’ve been out of the habit for a while and as a result, am finding it rather difficult.

Hopefully this blog will once again become properly active soon.

For those of you who subscribe, or check in, thank you for your patience!

The Post Office:

'Quintconsequential' is a word of my own invention, despite the definition in the style of the Oxford English Dictionary featured on the site. By all means, use it, whisper it, shout it from the rooftops. But please, remember that you heard it here first!
